Roger Ingraham is the director of the film '' Moonshine'', which premiered at the 2006 Sundance Festival. He started the film in 2003 at the age of 19 and finished editing it in 2006. Roger Ingraham was born in Stafford Springs, Connecticut, in 1984. After sophomore year of high school, he convinced his parents to let him drop out of high school to home-school himself. He spent his days reading, writing, playing video games, and, on a more studious note, passing some university art classes and studying in Costa Rica for a year. He moved to Los Angeles, and two short films, a PA job, and one year later, he retired back home to write and direct Moonshine, his first feature. After Sundance, Ingraham rejected offers from the Hollywood film industry, and he instead focused his work on filming transformative spiritual practices/teachers and creating non-fiction films about life-changing experiences, including one shot at the Burning Man Festival in the Nevada desert. He made a promotional short for Mike Cohen, the Kirtan band leader, in 2010 in his hometown of Stafford, CT.
